Mapit allows integration with Insight - Asset management plugin by Mindville. 

This means that you can present Insight objects on the map. In order for such an object to be presented, it must have attributes in which its coordinates (latitude / longitude) are saved. 


Configuration in Mapit

  • Install the plugin "Insight - Asset management"
  • Go to the section General configuration in the Mapit Administration Panel and find the Insight block
  • Configure the integration parameters (autosave)

Enable Insight integrationWhile we give you the option to integrate Mapit with Insight, you decide if you want to use it or not. You always have the option to enable/disable the integration.
Enable Insight Quick Search (saved filters) in the menu

If this option is enabled any Quick Search a user has saved in Insight will be available as a filter in the Mapit menu under the corresponding Insight schema section.

The name of the latitude coordinate attributeInsert the name of the latitude coordinate attribute for Insight objects.  This must be the same attribute name that is used in Insight.
The name of the longitude coordinate attributeInsert the name of the longitude coordinate attribute for Insight objects. This must be the same attribute name that is used in Insight.




In Insight: Add attributes for storing coordinates of an object

Add the longitude and latitude attributes (Text Type Value) to the object type whose objects you want to be able to create from the level of the map.
